Our Rooms
A Home Away from Home
We have carefully curated our space to suit the developmental stages of the children in each room. No two rooms are the same but each are purposeful and inviting for children to learn and play in.
A warm and loving environment where your baby can feel safe and secure while exploring the world around them.
Our under twos unit has a play space, a sleep room and baby changing room and there are plenty of activities to kick start your little one’s development. The play space has opportunities for tummy time, crawling and focused activities such as; exploring sounds, colours and shapes and to get creative using different media. Babies will be encouraged to try a range of different healthy foods to start their appetite off in the right direction.
Here there is a strong focus on communication and sensory play. The adults model vocabulary and support your child to understand how to use objects in play and collaborate with others as they get a little older.
Engaging activities that promote motor skills, language development, and social interactions.
Our 18 months – 3 year old space is set up so that our toddlers can express their interests using a range of role play, writing tools, creative media, songs, rhymes and dance for learning. With our Montessori inspired activities, children will learn how to use their growth mindset in overcoming challenges in the things they do everyday such as fastening buttons and zipping their coats.
The focus here is on supporting the children to work collaboratively with their peers and adults and taking responsibility as an individual. They will be doing tasks such as helping to serve the snack and cleaning up spills in order to encourage their sense of independence.
A structured yet flexible curriculum that prepares your child for the exciting transition to school.
In our pre-school room children are learning to fly, they will have built the foundations of understanding to navigate the play space independently and be able to use the activities independently and as part of a group. They will begin to communicate effectively and start working on phonic sounds for reading. They will be encouraged to write their name and take on responsibilities within the room.
The focus here is building on their confidence, friendships and ability to respect others emotions and values, We will focus on transitioning the children to school and make links where needed as they prepare for their next chapter ahead.
